MVB's Favorite Homemade Music Video

If YouTube.com had been around when they launched Voyager into space in 1977 (the year I launched my mural in downtown Miami) I would have recommended that they include this video with Chuck Berry's recording of "Johnny B. Goode" (which made the cut) on the disc that was attached to the spacecraft. That disc was designed to educate any alien civilization that might stumble upon it about us and to direct them to our planet. The YouTube video shows a cute, fun-loving species rocking out to a nearly 20-year-old Pixies song called "Hey." The video in less than a year has been viewed by nearly 7 million people. If you would like to see it, please click this post's title and PLAY IT LOUD. That's our opinion. What's yours?

Up Date (October 13, 2006): The video has surpassed 10 million views-- that's an increase of an additional million views per month since this was originally posted on July 10th. Over 17,000 people have voted it their favorite. Amazing.
