Way to go, Pete for doing the right thing. It's so rare to see someone do that on the city and county level. It gives us all hope that things might actually be turning around down here what with the recent firings of the Northwesten High principal and the entire football staff.

It is a sad day when we have to beatify a civil servant for doing his job! Nonetheless, I agree with you that the City manager is to be commended for firing Barbara Gomez. She was a complete zero!
Hey, we may be shallow egotists but we know our limitations. Beatification is something only the Pope can do.
